A place suspended
between history,
art and nature

In the heart of Pont-Aven, in southern Finistère, Rosmadec Le Moulin stands out as a truly unique establishment. Housed in a former mill on the banks of the Aven, the Michelin-starred restaurant offers a rare setting, where water, stone, and light combine to create a singular atmosphere.

Here, time slows down. And every moment seems suspended.

A Breton institution

The first Michelin-starred restaurant in Finistère, established in 1933, Rosmadec Le Moulin has stood the test of time without ever losing its soul. Located in Pont-Aven, an iconic Breton village marked by the artistic legacy of Paul Gauguin, the restaurant has long been a place of passage and inspiration. Taken over in 2018 by the Ruello family, it has now regained all its splendor, remaining true to its history.

Rosmadec Le Moulin is revealed room by room, each creating a different atmosphere, light and way of experiencing the dining experience.

The glass roof , bathed in natural light, opens up the view to the outside and accompanies the first moments of the meal in a bright and lively atmosphere.

Near the fireplace, just a few tables create a more intimate setting, where you immediately feel at home.

Upstairs, tablecloths, wallpaper, and soft lighting create a cozy atmosphere. A separate, more intimate room where one naturally lingers.

Outside, the historic granite terrace juts out like a prow over the Aven. On sunny days, it becomes a prime observation point.

More discreet, the cellar houses a separate table, designed for special moments. An intimate space, available for private hire, where the experience becomes even more

singular.

From one room to the next, the place subtly reveals itself, without ever losing its unity.
